stay fresh typography

The web is quickly becoming the art gallery of the future as you will see by some of the stunning font treatments here.

Many people don’t put the time into the typographic area of design.

Which is unfortunate, as it can be one of the greatest ways to attach emotion to your message.

Budget of course also plays a part here.

It takes time to create these typographic works of art.

Time, which most clients either can’t afford or don’t see the value in.

Hopefully you’ll find many of these typographic creations as inspiring as I have.

Make sure to scroll down the page or you may miss some.

Boagworld

After a 6 month hiatus, the team at Boagworld.com are back and better than ever.

The new site design looks fantastic. Adding the flare of ‘web 2.0′ with the usability and accessibility that Boagworld prides itself on, the new web site design is easier to navigate and an enjoyable experience to visit.

For those of you who don’t know – Boagworld.com is the brain child of Paul Boag, a U.K. based web designer and speaker on usability and accessibility in web design. Together with Marcus Lillington, Paul hosts the weekly Boagworld podcast that discusses on all things relating to building and running websites.

If you aren’t listening to this podcast and you are running a website. I’d suggest that you subscribe today (you can do so from their web site.

I’d also suggest that you go through their back catalogue of issues and soak up all the useful information they have to talk about.

Fitness Training website

fitness training website

I’ve been working hard again (well done me!) and here is a sample of what I’ve been working on.

SmartTrainers.com is a fitness training business situated in South Gippsland.

We’ve used a Joomla content management system as the back end, allowing the client to edit content from an internet connection, anywhere in the world.

We’ve then laid a completely customized website design over the top allowing the customer to work with their unique brand positioning.

The design was created to receive new contacts and to inform about the wide range of fitness services that Smart Trainers supply.

I feel it’s a great start. With some search engine optimization added to the project I can see it becoming a huge success in their region.

What do you think?
