crimson fox moved

Where has the blog been lately you may be asking.

Well I’ve been spending all of my free time organising the move into our brand new offices at the Monash Enterprise Centre.

The Centre houses and number of other great business working on the growth of their business.

It’s a great environment to concentrate on business direction and goals which is what we been developing for the last few months.

With the current economic crisis looming it’s a very exciting time to be in business and the are plenty of opportunities to sink or raise to even greater heights.

We’ll be working hard to be in the later group.

So, finally for a little bit of house keeping.

Our address and phone details have changed, so please update them where necessary.

Address: Suite 30, Monash Enterprise Centre, 5A Hartnett Close, Mulgrave VIC 3170, Australia

Phone: 03 8562 2239 (that’s +613 8562 2239 for calls outside of Australia)

The postal address will stay the same so any mail can be sent to the existing address.

If you are ever in the area feel free to give me a call and drop in for a chat.

I’ll hopefully be back on board with more regular updates as I drive this business to it’s next levels.

Fitness Training website

fitness training website

I’ve been working hard again (well done me!) and here is a sample of what I’ve been working on.

SmartTrainers.com is a fitness training business situated in South Gippsland.

We’ve used a Joomla content management system as the back end, allowing the client to edit content from an internet connection, anywhere in the world.

We’ve then laid a completely customized website design over the top allowing the customer to work with their unique brand positioning.

The design was created to receive new contacts and to inform about the wide range of fitness services that Smart Trainers supply.

I feel it’s a great start. With some search engine optimization added to the project I can see it becoming a huge success in their region.

Google

Helping future clients find you online.

Millions of people search for products and services each day on Google, Yahoo and other Search Engines.

So, of course, we all want our part of it. But how can we help your web sites to be found online.

Search Engine Optimization.

We optimize our sites for keywords and phrases that people use to search for our business.

But how can we be sure that the keywords we’re aiming for are the right ones?

Well, we could guess. Pick words that we think people will use to find us.

Unfortunately, it’s often hard to know what words people ‘outside our business’ might use to describe our business.

Now, Crimson Fox fixes the problem by providing you with a keyword testing system that will allow you to test your keyword theories and get some real results about what people are searching for.

The customers that have used this service so far, have been surprised at the results.

We’ve been able to help them redirect the aim of their web site and they are already showing the returns.

If this service sounds interesting or if you would like to know more – contact us and we will be more than happy to let you know more.

Crimson Fox 3D Show Reel

Monday, December 3rd, 2007

This evening I’ve had to put together a short show reel for a client, so I thought you might be interested to see the sort of 3D animation work I’ve been up to over the last year.

I’ve used a Royalty Free backing track that came with Sound track Pro for the background music. I think it works quite well.

I’ve also loaded it up to youtube.com to try out the experience. Which I have to say was very straight forward.

The only negative is that youtube needs to compress the file, so that it downloads quickly. The compression reduces the quality of the finished file. Keep that in mind if you upload anything with fine detail.

Anyway…Enjoy.

We’ve just completed work on the first rendition of the Frimokar Website.

The site is a work in progress currently only incorporate the low resolution imagery that was available at the time. But we are expecting to take comments over the next month to allow us a better understanding of what imagery and features our audience would like to see.

The website does include some great video functionality and is coded with Search Engine Optimization in mind.

Brisway 2008 is now available

Friday, October 19th, 2007

One of the major projects we’ve been working on over the last month is the 2008 Brisway Street Directory Cover and Point of Sale materials.

brisway cover

As part of the Ausway group of publications, Brisway is in world renowned company, partnering the Melway and Sydway Street Directories.

The push with this cover was to include major reference to the Australian Made quality of the product. Brisway is researched, designed, cartographically drawn, printed and bound right here in Australia. Very few publications of this size can say the same.

Working with our existing design from Melway and Sydway, we have completed the set by applying consistent branding now across all Ausway Projects.

You can find out more about the Ausway Group of Publications here.

Or, you can even purchase a copy of the 2008 Brisway online here.

Fantastic! The new site is up and running.

I’m very happy with the results, but if anyone spots and technical issues or pages not displaying the design, please let me know.

If you have any questions about why I designed elements on this site a certain way feel free to ask. I’d also love to hear any comments you have about the new design. Criticisms are also welcome. They might not make me adjust the look I’ve created here but you may draw something to my attention that I’ve neglected.

So now that I have to website and blog updated, I’m intending on providing regular content about design issues online and in my everyday life.

I hope you’ll find this resource interesting and come back again and again to see what’s new with Crimson Fox.
