How can I make the best use of my Tradeshow Exhibition?
So you've decided to exhibit at the upcoming trade show, and why not…it's a great way to get in front of a significant number of eligible prospects and potential suppliers.
But what should you consider when attending a trade show.
Is this the trade show for my business?
First, you need to consider if attending this trade show will get you in front of your unique target markets. Attending a trade show with only marginal ties to your customer or supplier base could end with little gained for the time, effort and money involved.
Make sure you ask the question - what do I intend to gain from this show and can I measure that result?
Secondly, much like a retail store your position on the event floor could be the difference between brief foot traffic or more than you can handle. Securing the right exhibit space will be important to your success.
O.K. so let's assume we have the right trade show for our business and we have secured a prime location.
What's next?
Hopefully we've done our branding homework and have a marketing message ready to be actioned.
If not, I'd consider reading our other sections on branding and marketing or speaking to us directly.
For now, let's assume we have a message and are ready to move forward. But, what options do we have for implementation.
Plenty. Some options you may wish to consider are;
- Posters
- Flyers and Brochures
- Retractable Banners
- Audio Visual Displays, DVD's and Videos
- Light boxes
- Promotional items, gimmicks and draw cards
- Tables and chairs
- Promotional and Sales Staff
- Fully custom exhibition design and construction - To be digitally modeled prior to construction
Each of these items is an example of the traditional tools that we use to advertise and promote in the trade show environment.
